I had surgery 2 weeks ago, and I be put under anesthesia (completely unconscious) and I be intubated (tube down my throat). For the past 3 days, I hold had a severe cold. Chest pains, frenzy, cough, congestion, and sore throat. However, I am getting better very soon, but after speaking with a co-worker who just now had surgery, she be sick with impossible to tell apart symptoms also. Has anyone ever been sick or ever hear of anyone getting sick (Cold & flu like symptoms) after have anesthesia?
Thanks!Has this happen to you after anesthesia?
I have have 36 surgeries over the past 56 years--the later one was a year ago for a torn rotator cuff... I could NOT be intubated and that exceptional surgery was canceled and moved to a bigger hospital, where on earth they had EXTREME difficulty beside the anesthesia process... I have have the same symptoms described above beside almost EVERY surgery--the ones I had when younger be with EITHER and I would bring back physically sick after each of those surgeries along near the soar throat and cold. NOW, I have acquire pulmonary hypertension AND congestive heart failure and am TERMINAL and it is believed that adjectives of my preceding surgeries played a BIG roll in my present condition... Almost adjectives the surgeries I had be due to several birth defects and deformity that doctors TRIED to repair, including a cleft palate, spinal deformities, collar deformities, shoulder deformity...all associated near an orphan disease call Klipple-feil Syndrome. (look it up).
Yes, it's very adjectives. Been intubated often can head to a pulmonary infection.
